Fondantico returns to Tefaf Maastricht with a selection of paintings dating from the half of sixteenth to early twentieth centuries. The exhibition includes, among others, an elegant Mystic Marriage of Saint Catherine by the hand of Lavinia Fontana, a truly great artist not only because a woman and a youthful work by Guercino, one of the most loved artists of the Italian Seicento, the panel depicts the Flight of the Holy Family to Egypt, leaving ample space for the rendering of landscape.
