For the second time Fondantico takes part at The European Fine Art Fair, presenting a rich selection of works ranging in date from the sixteenth to early nineteenth centuries. Among the paintings from the Bolognese School – Fondantico’s focus for over thirty years – are two outstanding items: the Country Dance painted by Guido Reni in about 1601-1602, formerly in the collection of Cardinal Scipione Borghese, who housed the work in the Villa Borghese in Rome, and the large-scale canvas by Lucio Massari, which comes from one of the most extraordinary painting collections in Europe, that of the Princes of Liechtentstein.
